Scout Section Hike - Waterfall to Heathcote

Activity Overview
- On Sunday 28th June 2026 8am - 2.30pm, we will be going on a hike from Waterfall to Heathcote via Kingfisher Pool and Mirang Pool in Heathcote National Park. This will be approximately 11km walk and will go towards obtaing your OAS 3 + OAS 4 Bushwalking badge

Preparation
- Please read through OAS 3 + OAS 4 Bushwalking on Scouts Terrain
Clothing & Equipment
- Please wear sturdy enclosed shoes (hiking boots preferable), appriopriate clothing (long light pants recommended) with your scout scarf. Please bring a backpack with a 2L of Water, morning tea, lunch and a small first aid kit (if you have one). Opal card for train travel.
Travel Arrangements
- Please meet at Gymea Train Station at 8am. We will be catching the 8:12 train.
- For the return train we are hoping to be back at Gymea for 2.30pm We will notify you via Whatapp if we are early or late.

- This activity will be conducted under direct adult supervision. Both male and female leaders will be present.
